KathNiel Admits their Plan on Love and Career - Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla In Love?

Philippine showbiz' Teen Queen and King Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla still can't contain their happiness on the blessings and huge success they achieved in the past year.
Their kilig-series "Got To Believe" maintains its position as the most-watch program on primetime.

Their Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2013 movie entry "Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay," now on its second week with more than P100-million in ticket sales, is still raking huge following. “Grabe nagulat ako at masasabi ko talaga na 2013 ang best 'year para sa amin ni DJ (Padilla), so maganda siya para i-end 'yung year. Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng sumuporta,” Kathryn said in an interview with ABS-CBN entertainment news site Push.

For his part, Daniel wishes that fans will continue to support his "love team" with Kathryn, as well as their upcoming projects slated for 2014. “Basta happy lang kami at nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng sumusuporta at sana magtuloy-tuloy lang ngayong 2014,” he said.

KathNiel also hinted on more exciting things to come from her and Padilla. “Siguro kailangan nilang abangan ang season two ng 'Got To Believe.' Marami pa ang mangyayari and of course marami pang plano for 2014 so hintay lang sila."

Pagpag: Syam na Buhay - MMFF 2013

It’s the season of MMFF once again and I’m glad to know that there will be no ‘Enteng’, ‘Agimat’ or even a ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll’ entry this year! Star Cinema and Regal Entertainment proudly give us the loveteam that will surely beat most of the competition this year.

After the success of their entry last year, ’Sisterakas’. KathNiel is back this MMFF with a sure box-office movie, ’Pagpag Siyam na Buhay’.

Teen sensations Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla top-bills the horror film directed by Frasco Mortiz. ‘Pagpag’ is the first entry I will watch this MMFF, that’s for sure, aside from being the only horror entry in the MMFF this year,’Pagpag’ has a promise, it doesn’t look like a cheap horror flick based on the trailer. It got the vibe of a classic Star Cinema horror movie (Feng Shiu, Sukob). The trailer also shows how the movie’s plot will be.

Paulo Avelino looks like holding somekind of a voodoo doll,he can be the main culprit or source of the curse and I'm pretty sure Shaina knows something about it. ‘Pagpag Siyam na Buhay’ also stars Shaina Magdayao,Paulo Avelino, Matet de Leon, Janus delPrado, Miles Ocampo, Clarence Delgado, CJ Navato Michele Vito and Dominic Roque. With the special participation of Enchong Dee and Empress. As a horror lover, I really look forward in seeing this movie! What can you say on ‘Pagpag Siyam na Buhay’? Let me know via Twitter and Tumblr. :)

Feel The Magic Of KathNiel Fever

Got To Believe is being aired every night at Abs-Cbn's Primetime Bida right now. Well, for a Filipino TV geek, who doesn't know that anyway? :)

#G2BMovingOn #G2BMagic and the list goes on have been taking it's reserved spot in Twitter and other social networking sites. I, myself even used those hashtags a lot lately. WHY. Let me explain to you how these gorgeous teens hailed the Primetime slot and how they caught the attention of many viewers worldwide.

Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo is probably the most popular love team of this generation. I don't mind if they are real sweethearts or not but all I know they have this great chemistry on screen. Let's just don't deny the fact that we even get "kilig" when Daniel Padilla starts staring at Kathryn Bernardo as if he's going to eat her up. These two kids are really making the hearts of many Filipinos especially the teens fall for their on and off screen drama love affair.

Honestly, I, myself got hit by that "magic" in their new soap, Got To Believe. I believe it's their third week now, not sure though. But I'm sure that I haven't skipped an episode of it. :D

The storyline is interesting and everyone can relate just like BCWMH. It depicts a typical Filipino Family who wishes nothing but the good for their children. Ian Veneracion and Carmina Villaroel plays the role of Joaquin's (Daniel Padilla) protective parents while Manilyn Reynes and Benjie Paras is playing the fun and bubbly parents of Chichay (Kathryn Bernardo).

Ahem. "Papa Bear" / "Mama Bear"? Can relate? LOL.

Chichay can be sometimes irritating. I get affected every time she have done something to get Joaquin scolded at. Haha. I also get annoyed with Joaquin when he looks at Kathryn with so much hatred. I hate these kids for making my head hurt. Yes, sometimes.

The Teen Kilig Factor. It's obvious. Who doesn't have crushes waaay back high school and college? If you don't have, bet you're such a geek who kisses his books and skips lunch just to score an A. *oops, bully me* :D

KathNiel - The Phenomenal Love Team

Three years since their phenomenal love team was born, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, collectively known as KathNiel, shared that their tandem has allowed them to grow together and individually as actors.

During their live appearance on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Kathryn explained that they were able to develop a far stronger love for the craft over the years.

“Before naman importante na sakin ang craft na ito, pero ngayon siguro mas na-appreciate ko siya. Mas na-realize ko kung gaano siya ka-importante and nag-grow po siguro kaming dalawa,” said the 17-year-old actress.
Aside from the love, Kathryn also cited that they learned to be more focused with their career.

At such a short time, their love team was able to prove its magic through their successful projects. among them was their first titular soap “Princess & I ” and their first ever movie released last July titled “Must Be Love” and now their new primetime soap “Got to Believe.”
To this, Daniel was asked as to the “magic” behind their highly-supported tandem.

“Kasi magkaiba po kami ni Kathryn sa ugali, sa pag-iisip kung ano ang kailangang gawin. Kasi ako yung parang magulo siya yung maayos. Pero sa ibang bagay siya ako naman ang maayos siya naman ang magulo. Sobrang magkaiba kami kaya sobrang naging compatible yung nakikita,” Daniel offered.
In retrospect, though prior to being hailed as one of the most bankable teen loveteams today, Kathryn and Daniel were actually skeptical as to whether or not their “experimental” love team would gain following.
The young actress explained that her doubt stems from the fact that “pareho kaming moreno, pareho kaming Filipino-looking so di ko pa masyadong sigurado kung magwo-work ba.”

While the then newbie Daniel was battling his own anxiety over being paired to someone who already has “acting experience.”
“Kinabahan siyempre kasi si Kathryn artista na eh ako medyo baguhan palang tapos si Kathryn agad ang ka-partner ko, kabado talaga ako. Tapos yung mga kasama ko artista na talaga, ako lang talaga yung pinakabago dun,” shared the 18-year-old teen star about their first project together, the defunct youth-oriented show “Growing Up.”
KathNiel will be back on primetime on August 26 for their second soap, Got to Believe.
