I've never been a fan of any loveteams/ team ups in the entertainment scene. But not until this pair came up.
They are fondly called by fans as "KathNiel" - the sensational team up of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla which never fails to bring flutters to hearts of many. "Kilig" as what we colloquially call it, they bring out an immeasurable amoung of it that makes people go crazy about their team up (I personally one of those *wink*).
I myself became active in social networking sites such as Twitter just to seek updates from these two, and prompted me to join other sites too. Their team up is simply lovable and of course they are too, as individuals. :)
Kathryn just turned 16 and DJ is turning 17 this coming April 26. But young as they are, they already know how to value their work and at the same time value the people who helped them to whwre they are now. I even read an article which feature them that tells how professional they are at work, regardless whwther on or off - cam.
Their team up actually started from a youth-oriented show entitled "Growing Up" which airs every Sunday afternoon (this has already ended last February). Kath played the role of "Ella" while Dj was "Patrick" in the show. Though their roles were mostly seen bickering like cats and dogs, still, viewers managed to see how compatible they were. And voila! #ElRick #KathNiel then took over the trending topics in twitter and their team up are being talked about by many. Daniel Padilla, being a newbie in the entertainment scene rose to stardom upon the airing of the show. He is being tagged by everyone as the new heartthrob, who swoons the hearts of many especially that of ladies with his undeniable charisma. Kathryn on the other hand continuously wows people with her beauty, her remarkable talent in acting and is considered as one of the most important teens of her generation.
Now, their new drama series "Princess and I" is a new venture for them. Kath will play the role of a lost princess while Dj is tagged as the "Bad boy" of this TV show of theirs. However this time, two more men will compete for Kath's love in the show : Enrique Gil (The Prince) and Khalil Ramos (The Best Friend). Dj even said in one of his interviews regarding the series that he might have a hard time capturing the heart of the princess in the story as he said: "mahihirapan tayo dito, pero sana manalo tayo".
What makes their team up more kilig-inducing is by how vocal Dj is of his feelings for Kath. He admits that he likes Kath and might court her if time permits so. Besides, they're still having the time of their lives at this moment and are still young anyway so, why rush things right? After all, every romantic relationship starts off from a strong friendship *wink* :).
So why a lot of people are going gaga
over this loveteam? Simple : they exude an oozing chemistry which you can't
teach artists. The way they bring out that "kilig" is effortless and
seems to be very natural (well, chemistry at all can't be faked).
It's obvious that I'm a KathNiel shipper *wink*. Hahaha! By just a mere mention
or thought of their loveteam I just can't help but smile. I always look forward
for pictures of them together, videos, or updates of any sorts. Whenever I get
to see updates, I literally jump around, scream out loud because of kilig!!
I even met friends online just by being a KathNiel fan. I just hope that their team up will continue to blossom as one of the entertainment industry's finest and of course would last for a very long time. I'll always support this team up no matter what happens. =)
